We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to operate our website, process orders and provide our services.

2. How we use your information

We may use your personal information to:

  • Process and fulfil your orders
  • Arrange printing and delivery of your artwork
  • Process payments

3. Our legal basis for using your information

Depending on why we are using your information, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

Contract
We need certain information to process and fulfil your order and provide the services you have requested.

Legal obligation
We may need to keep or use certain information to comply with legal, tax, accounting or other regulatory requirements.

Legitimate interests
We may use information where it is reasonably necessary to operate, protect and improve our business, website and services, provided this does not unfairly affect your rights.

Consent
Where required, we will ask for your consent, for example before using certain non-essential cookies or sending marketing communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate our business and fulfil your order.

These may include:

Shopify

Our online store is hosted and operated using Shopify. Shopify processes information relating to visitors, customers and orders so that we can operate our website, process purchases and provide our services.

Shopify may also process information to provide certain additional services, including personalisation, security, analytics and advertising-related services.

Our store currently has Shopify Network Intelligence enabled. When this is enabled, Shopify may securely use customer information together with information from other Shopify merchants and Shopify services to provide Enhanced Services, including improving products, personalisation and advertising-related services. No other merchant is given access to our customer data.

You can read more about how Shopify processes consumer information in its Consumer Privacy Policy.

Gelato

We use Gelato as a print-on-demand fulfilment partner for our artwork.

When you place an order, we may provide Gelato with the information needed to produce and deliver your order. This can include your name, delivery address, email address, order details and other information necessary to fulfil the order.

Gelato may process this information through its own systems and printing partners in order to produce and deliver your purchase.

Contrado

We may also use Contrado as a print-on-demand and fulfilment partner. Where an order is fulfilled through Contrado, relevant customer and order information may be shared with them so that the order can be produced and delivered.

Payment providers

Payments are processed through the payment services available through Shopify and other payment providers offered at checkout.

We do not normally receive or store your full payment card details. Payment providers process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies and security requirements.

Other service providers

We may share limited information with other providers where necessary for services such as website operation, delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, security, accounting or legal compliance.

We only share information where there is a legitimate reason to do so.

5. International transfers

Some of the companies we use may process personal information outside the UK or European Economic Area.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by applicable data protection law.

Shopify, for example, may transfer personal information internationally as part of providing its services. Shopify explains the safeguards it uses for international transfers in its privacy information.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, remember preferences, process orders and understand how visitors use the site.

Some cookies are necessary for the operation and security of the website. Other cookies or technologies may be used for analytics, personalisation or advertising.

Where consent is required, our Shopify cookie banner allows you to make choices about non-essential cookies and similar technologies.

You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences where the relevant controls are available.

7. Marketing

If you choose to receive marketing communications from us, we may use your email address or other contact details to send information about our artwork, new collections, offers or other news.

You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us.

We will not send marketing communications where your consent is required and has not been provided.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Some information relating to purchases may need to be kept for longer to meet legal, tax, accounting or other regulatory requirements.

When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or securely dispose of it.

9. Keeping your information secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights including:

  • The right to ask for access to your personal information
  • The right to ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • The right to ask us to delete your information
  • The right to restrict certain processing
  • The right to object to certain uses of your information
  • The right to receive certain information in a portable format
  • The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

These rights are subject to certain legal exceptions.

If you would like to exercise your rights, please contact us using the details below.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your personal information has not been handled correctly.

11. Shopify privacy rights

Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify may process certain information about you in its own capacity, including in connection with Shopify's consumer services and Enhanced Services.

You can learn more about Shopify's processing and exercise certain rights through Shopify's privacy resources.
